Founded in June 2002, the Kern Veterans Memorial Foundation's maiden project is to develop and build a Monument in the County Seat at the intersection of Truxtun Avenue and S Street to remember those Kern County veterans who have served in wartime and peace to defend our freedoms and the American way of life.
