Our Mission

The mission of the Kern Veteran's Memorial Foundation is to design, fund, develop and build monuments and memorials that recognize and honor the sons and daughters of Kern County, California who have faithfully served to defend our freedoms and the American way life.


 

Your donation of $300 will memorialize one of the names of our 1,007 soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen, and counting, who gave their lives for the cause of freedom on the Wall of Valor in Phase II of the Kern Veteran's Memorial.  The Wall of Valor consist of 8 glass panels listing the names of KIAs and MIAs from Kern County...

Who could ask for better weather? The Unveiling Event, which took place on Saturday, May 28, 2011, welcomed a crowd of approximately 850-900 people.
